The typical equipment that Cayuga Country Homes installs as a standard feature in our new home is so efficient, it will qualify for these rates.
In addition to saving you money, high-efficiency boilers and furnaces uses sealed combustion systems, which are quieter and safer. They draw fresh air for combustion directly from outside, they do not suck expensive heated air from inside your home, and are less likely to be damaged from pollutants and chemicals in your home.
So far, more than 30,000 customer have used incentives and rebates since 2009 from NYSEG & RG&E. The savings is equal to the amount of electricity to power more than 1 million homes a year and heat more than 100,000 homes annually – according to the utilities.
